UPDATE 10th September 2020
Livestreamed Sunday services will be held outdoors weather permitting and indoors if not. If you wish to attend, you will need to pre-book. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sadly birthday parties or other similar community activities cannot be considered in the light of the “rule of 6” which applies from 14th September https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-54093465
All our Sunday services are livestreamed and can be accessed from 11am through clicking https://www.facebook.com/churchontheroundabout/live (no Facebook account needed). It continues to be an all inclusive and interactive time, with inspirational music, fun songs for kids, and a short relevant message.
Below is a video from church member Paul Beardmore and how he came through a covid-19 infection
Living in lockdown and the fear of this pandemic does not get any easier! As a church, we are teaming up with the amazing Christian singer, songwriter and counsellor LILY JO. She has been down to the Island twice and has a website full of helpful resources and encouraging songs to help our mental health during this testing time. CLICK https://www.lilyjo.co.uk/mentalhealth
PRAYER is an absolute lifeline in times of crisis like this. We have introduced two 30 minute interactive livestream prayer times each week (Tues 7.30pm; Thurs 10.30am) on https://www.facebook.com/churchontheroundabout/live
If you have any prayer requests, you are able to type them into the feed
If you have specific prayer requests, you can contact the Minister Tony Murphy on 07584 667879 (Mon – Fri 9am -5pm)
For general help a new helpline number is now available to support the Island’s most vulnerable residents affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) self-isolation measures. People who do not have a local network of friends or family to support them while they are self-isolating or social distancing can call (01983) 823600 (seven days a week, 9am-5pm). https://www.iow.gov.uk/news/New-helpline-to-support-those-at-risk?
