Lockdown latest

UPDATE 4th January 2021
We continue to stream our services and prayer times (see calendar) on https://www.facebook.com/churchontheroundabout/live (no Facebook account needed). The good thing that has come from this, is that so many more people have been able to take part.

Foodbank remains open on a Wednesday and Friday morning, 10am-1pm. Please don’t feel bad about using it. We see it as the whole community working together to help each other. We put in when when can and we take out when we need to.
If you are having trouble getting a voucher, please call Tony on 07584667879

Birthday parties & community use of the building:
Sadly birthday parties or other similar community activities currently cannot be currently be considered, as the risk is too high

HELP!
Living in lockdown and the fear of this pandemic does not get any easier! As a church, we are teaming up with the amazing Christian singer, songwriter and counsellor LILY JO. She has been down to the Island twice and has a website full of helpful resources and encouraging songs to help our mental health during this testing time. CLICK https://www.lilyjo.co.uk/mentalhealth

PRAYER is an absolute lifeline in times of crisis like this. We have introduced two 30 minute interactive livestream prayer times each week (Tues 7.30pm; Thurs 10.30am) on https://www.facebook.com/churchontheroundabout/live
If you have any prayer requests, you are able to type them into the feed

If you have specific prayer requests, you can contact the Minister Tony Murphy on 07584 667879 (Mon – Fri 9am -5pm)

For general help a new helpline number is now available to support the Island’s most vulnerable residents affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) self-isolation measures. People who do not have a local network of friends or family to support them while they are self-isolating or social distancing can call (01983) 823600 (seven days a week, 9am-5pm). https://www.iow.gov.uk/news/New-helpline-to-support-those-at-risk?
