Healing on the streetsWell we did it !!
Praise the Lord after much prayer and preparation  a team 10 trained team members assembled in St James Square on Saturday morning and launched the Healing on the Streets Isle of Wight ministry….Well done everybody who took part and those who prayed for God’s blessing to be released.
The weather forecast had been for heavy rain but we only had a light shower barely enough to warrant the use of the brollies.  The banner was erected and the chairs set out, the P.A. was playing nice music and 10 people bowed the knee in prayer in the centre of Newport.  God’s presence was tangible and then we started to offer the passing very curious public the flyers with invitation for prayer.
I lost count of how many flyers we gave out but it was a good number as many people were prepared to take one.  Eight people were prayed for with disabilities ranging from Bi-polar, leg and knee problems, heart conditions, repetitive strange injury even a ladies dog got some prayer !!
Everything worked well and we turned many heads and have started many tongues wagging, a spiritualist and a medium were also attracted to our pitch and took flyers.  The team worked really well together and I was delighted to see that the points of the training were on the whole being observed.  Well done everyone.  We were even given some free fresh doughnuts from a local store..isn’t God good ?
I have started a waiting list for the next training session, hopefully this will be in about a month’s time.  Please pray that we can secure some premises in Newport to store the equipment and use as a base.
