Covid-19 Latest

Living in lockdown and the fear of this pandemic does not get any easier! As a church, we are teaming up with the amazing Christian singer, songwriter and counsellor LILY JO. She has been down to the Island twice and has a website full of helpful resources and encouraging songs to help our mental health during this testing time. During this period of lockdown, we still want to be an accessible church. Apart from Foodbank, everything we do has been moved online and we are managing to find new and inventive ways of doing this.

Our Sunday services can be accessed through clicking https://www.facebook.com/churchontheroundabout/live (no Facebook account needed). It continues to be an all inclusive and interactive time, with music from our musicians homes, fun songs for kids, and a short relevant  message.

Prayer is an absolute lifeline in times of crisis like this. We have introduced two half hour interactive prayer times each week (Tues 7.30pm; Thurs 10.30am). If you have any prayer requests, you are able to type them into the feed and they will be prayed through.

If you have specific prayer requests, you can contact the Minister Tony Murphy on 07584 667879 (Mon – Fri 9am -5pm)

For general help a new helpline number is now available to support the Island’s most vulnerable residents affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) self-isolation measures.

People who do not have a local network of friends or family to support them while they are self-isolating or social distancing can call (01983) 823600 (seven days a week, 9am-5pm). https://www.iow.gov.uk/news/New-helpline-to-support-those-at-risk?
