Knowing God’s blessing in 2021

Just when we thought things couldn’t get any harder, we find ourselves in tier 4 of lockdown and in a world of increasing uncertainty.

The one thing we can do in times like this is to turn to the God, the one who remains solid and steadfast. As we build our lives on him, we too become solid, even in a storm.
As Jesus said, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock” (Matthew’s Gospel chapter 7 verse 24)

This year we are getting our daily readings from If you click on this link, each day offers you an inspirational thought for the day that you can listen to and/ or read.

As it says in Psalm 46,
God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging
