A full on Wednesday!

Weds 7/7/21. Full on day today. Running Foodbank as usual with our amazing Wednesday team of John, Linda, Sarah and welcoming Samson back too. It’s beginning to look more like it’s old self again, in that people can come and sit down and enjoy a coffee.
Becky Haydock from Sovereign housing came down this morning to meet Paula and myself in the Food Forest. Sovereign have supported us financially in this project and it was great to show Becky what we have been doing down here. We were also joined by Trudie, a new volunteer and our local councillor Geoff Brodie
In the afternoon Steph Harris from the Salvation Army homeless team came down and gave us some really helpful training on vulnerable adult safeguarding.
Oh and in between, fellow church leader Paul Beardmore and myself were planning our church families picnic this Sunday. He’s talking about making everyone pancakes!
